Podiatry, also known as chiropody, is a field of healthcare devoted to the study, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, knee, leg and hip (collectively known as the lower limb).
Providing preventative care as well as treatment, podiatrists work with their patients to improve mobility, independence and quality of life.
A qualified podiatrist works with people of all ages, treating a variety of conditions of the lower limb. Where needed, more specialized patient management is also provided.
Edward Rosenfield Edward received his BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from the University of Salford. He is a State Registered Podiatrist with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and is also a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
